Terms & Conditions

Effective 12 July 2026

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and BitIngenuity (bitingenuity.com), the operator of AtelierLab (“the Service”), available at atelierlab.in. By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a studio or company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

2. The Service

AtelierLab is a client-management platform for architecture studios: studios manage client workspaces, share documents, message clients, and raise invoices whose settlement unlocks the associated documents. The Service is currently offered as an early-access product and its features may change as it develops.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Studios create accounts for their clients. The studio is responsible for having its clients' consent to do so.
  • We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, compromise the security of the Service, or are used unlawfully.

4. Payments

  • Invoices are raised by studios to their own clients. Payments are processed by Razorpayon the studio's own Razorpay account, which the studio connects via Razorpay's OAuth flow and which is subject to Razorpay's own terms and KYC requirements.
  • AtelierLab is not a party to payments between a studio and its clients. We do not hold, aggregate, or route funds; settlement happens directly between the payer and the studio's Razorpay account.
  • Refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes are matters between the studio and its client, per the studio's own engagement terms. Document access that was granted on a payment later refunded or disputed may be withdrawn by the studio.
  • Fees for the Service itself, if and when introduced, will be communicated in advance; during early access the Service is provided without a platform fee.

5. Your content

  • Studios and their clients retain all rights to the documents and information they upload. You grant us only the licence needed to store, process, and display that content in order to run the Service.
  • You are responsible for your content: you must have the rights to upload it, and it must not be unlawful, infringing, or malicious.
  • We do not access customer content except as needed to operate the Service, investigate abuse, or comply with law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to distribute malware;
  • attempt to access another studio's workspace or probe the Service's security;
  • resell or white-label the Service without our written agreement;
  • use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and the AtelierLab name, belongs to BitIngenuity. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; they transfer no ownership.

8. Availability and disclaimer

We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You should keep your own copies of critical drawings and records.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BitIngenuity is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose (or ₹5,000 if you have paid nothing).

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms with notice where practicable. On closure, we will make your content available for export for a reasonable period before deletion, as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the competent courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.

12. Changes

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice before they take effect; continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
